Presenter: Dr. Julie Cecere, Diplomate, American College of Theriogenologists
Dr. Cecere is an Assistant Clinical Professor, Theriogenology; Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, Blacksburg, VA. Dr. Cecere graduated from the VMCVM in 2009, and spent a year in private emergency practice. She returned to do her residency in theriogenology in 2010. She completed a M.S. degree in hypothyroidism and pregnancy in 2012, and became a Diplomate in 2013. She has been on the faculty (2012) and is training an AKC/CHF resident fellow. Her clinical areas of interest are dystocia and male infertility. Julie lives in Newport, Virginia with her husband and two children. When she is not playing with puppies, kittens and foals at work she enjoys riding horses, upland bird hunting, dog agility, gardening and dancing with her husband.
